1. Choosing unhealthy herbal plants-choose a healthy seed, though you have enough space to quarantine unhealthy seeds, it may take a while for that particular seed to get healthy again. You are wasting time in nurturing unhealthy seeds.
3. Not cutting back-pruning will save the plant from dying, through cutting, you're helping the plant to grow fast and neatly, you can be sure you will harvest a nice and great tasting herb soon.
4. Overcrowding/planting incorrectly-you tend to shop for more herbs than you can plant, you need to consider the space so that they will have enough room to breathe, and crowded seeds cannot produce nice and great tasting herbs.
5. Allowing flowers to turn into seeds-herbal plants grows into a lovely flower, do not allow your seed to flower as this signals that the end of life is near. Once you see a flower coming out, you should take it off so that it won't die.
6. Spraying chemicals---herbs are often eaten fresh, you should refrain from spraying pesticides over the plant, and this will affect your health.
7. Pay attention to small details---it's important to pay attention to closed gardens, watch for damage leaves and pest that can harm your herbs.
8. Water them properly---minimal watering can be effective because herbs tend to die when they're over watered.
9. Protect herbs---though herbs are resistant to bugs, they can still damage the plant, so you need to check from time to time.
10. Fertilizing---once you have started planting, you need to fertilize your seed. Organic fertilizers are available in most plant shops. You don't need to use spray fertilizers as they can harm your health.
